COUNSELING

COUNSELING SERVICES:

The ministry offers Christian counseling sessions to those who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Confidentiality is assured. Our goal is that, under the Holy Spirit’s guidance, to convey a way to freedom from emotional difficulties, family conflicts (parent-child, brother-sister, husband-wife), or other kinds of conflicts.

Young people are especially encouraged to contact us. The ministry decided that females will be counseled by a female counselor and males will be counseled by a male counselor. We speak English and Romanian. The following statements are referring to some of the situations you may face in life which require help.

STRESS:

Maybe you would like to know what to do in order to be happy.
Unfortunately life is
not simple and many times you feel like you need to share your struggles and failures with somebody. The Lord says, “I will make you wise and show you where to go. I will guide you and watch over you.” (Ps. 32:8). The apostle Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:16, 18 tells us: “Rejoice always;” and “in everything give thanks;” That is what God wants for you in Christ Jesus.”
Even though you did everything you could, you feel that the circumstances are working against you and even your loved ones don’t understand what you’re going through.

FAMILY ISSUES:

Maybe you have been married for many years but your spouse is like a stranger to you. What can you do? Are there people that can help you without breaking confidentiality? The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6: “Do not worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks”.How can you fulfill this request when you see that your children live in a corrupt world and you don’t know how to help them? Who can counsel you?

TEENAGE ISSUES:

Maybe you are a teenager and you want to be happy, but the pressure you feel from school, parents or friends overwhelms you. You don’t want to be treated as a child any more and, at the same time the adult responsibilities are overwhelming. Where can you go and ask for guidance and help? Maybe your life was filled with troubles. Many hurt or wronged you. You know that you are supposed to forgive, but you can’t. What can you do?
